My name is Sherry J.Nell, and there's a lot to know.

I love philosophy, art, and wonderful books.
Repo! The Genetic Opera is one of my favorite movies.
I like comics and drawing.
Video games also. Mostly RPG

I try to think outside the box.
I'm very creative but also assertive.
I'm determined.
But also very calm.
Not much phases me.
I haven't found anything I'm afraid of besides losing someone I love.
I'm not even afraid of my own death.

I love knowing a lot of people.

When I first meet a person I judge on the presence they bring, their posture, and facial expressions. Not their cloths or sexuality. All though I'm well aware first impressions aren't all there is.

I'm good at predicting people and analyzing them.
I have a lot of friends, but only a few I truly trust.

Crafty and mischievous are my specialty. I love being a snarky person. My heroes are Dr. House and Dr. Cox from Scrubs.

In the future I want to be involved in politics, be a lawyer, write books, or be a fashion designer.

I'm really open minded but really conservative with my own doings.

Get to know me more kids.

Turns out the Easter Island heads have bodies, too! Archeologists discovered bodies beneath the 887 stoic faces after 12 years excavating and studying the statues.

“They’re buried up to mid-torso level. So it’s understandable that the general public didn’t have a clue that those statues had bodies,” Jo Anne Van Tilburg, director of the Easter Island Statue Project, told Fox News this week.

While experts have known for some time that much of the stone figures has been partially buried due to centuries of exposure to the elements, “this is the first time that one has been excavated in such a way that the documentation was complete and scientific,” said Van Tilburg.

  9.   We were at a friend’s apartment, when Jeffrey and I noticed a bunch of books put by the dumpster. I adopted all of them and am still wondering who is crazy enough to try and throw all of this away. I have mixed emotions to the person that did. Part of me wants to slap them for trying to throw away good books, and the other part wants to hug them for trying to throw away good books. All though I guess their plan was for someone to take them since they were sat beside the dumpster and  not thrown in. Still though.

    I got my enlistment orders

and so far so good. Tomorrow I have to try and pick up my diploma so I can give it to my recruiter, and start packing for Barksdale base this weekend. The 2nd and 3rd will just be briefings on what I need to expect during 0 week, and to get me familiar with everything. Then next weekend is when I ship out and I need a hotel reservation for that, but they won't house my friend who's driving me, so we'll have to stay off base. On Tuesday morning I leave Shreveport vis plane (My first plane ride! Yay!) and fly to Dallas. After a long delay in Dallas I'll be back on another plane going to San Antonio. I'm not scared yet. Just kinda stressed and I want to make sure not to mess up. x__x

Comic Book Boycott of the Day: Conservative group One Million Moms is at it again, directing its not-quite-a-million members to boycott Marvel and DC Comics due to recent announcements from both companies about their futures of their gay characters.
DC has revealed that a major character is soon going to come out as gay, while Marvel announced the engagement of superhero Northstar to his boyfriend, Kyle.
These events don’t sit will with One Million Moms, whose anti-gay agenda has also led them to protest the wedding of Archie Comics’ first gay character, Kevin Keller.
“Children desire to be just like superheroes,” said the group in a statement. “Children mimic superhero actions and even dress up in costumes to resemble these characters as much as possible. Can you imagine little boys saying, ‘I want a boyfriend or husband like X-Men?’”
The statement goes on to accuse the publishers of trying to “indoctrate [sic] impressionable young minds.”
Marvel and DC have yet to respond to the homophobic comments.
